ATLAS
Point Ormond Elwood
The method of double exposure film is overlaying different chance landscapes on top of one another by winding the film back and exposing the film multiple times. This allows for the history of the site to be overlayed in unique and intimate ways for the spectator. The different exposures can be of different days and even different years. Allowing for the story of the place to reveal change. The key to reading the different "maps" of the Atlas is the big map of Point Ormond, the numbers of the title give you the different exposure landscape spots.
